Microsoft has confirmed seven new titles will be coming to Xbox Game Pass next month.

Xbox Game Pass is a monthly subscription service that gives Xbox and PC players access to a massive library of games. To keep the service fresh, new games are regularly added – and subscribers have had plenty to choose from in recent weeks.

As well as the surprise release of The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion remake, April also saw Game Pass subscribers get Day One access to turn-based role-playing game Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, which is currently the best-reviewed game of 2025. Microsoft also added Grand Theft Auto 5 back to the service, alongside a number of other games.

Now Microsoft has confirmed the first seven games coming to Xbox Game Pass in May.

On May 1, 2020’s classic Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will join the service after Modern Warfare 3 was added last year. It’ll be joining Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6, which launched on the service as a Day One release.

Later on in the month (May 15) id Software’s Doom: The Dark Ages will also be available to subscribers as a Day One release. A prequel to 2016’s rebooted Doom, The Dark Ages tells an “epic cinematic story” of the Doom Slayer’s rage. “Players will step into the blood-stained boots of the Doom Slayer, in this never-before-seen dark and sinister medieval war against Hell,” reads the official description.

  • Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 – May 1 for Ultimate and PC subscribers

More games will be confirmed in the coming weeks. Microsoft has also annouced six games will be leaving at the end of April. Subscribers have until April 30 to play the following:

  • Have A Nice Death
  • Kona 2 Brume
  • Sniper Elite 5
  • The Last Case of Benedict Fox

In the coming months, Game Pass subscribers will get access to Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4. However Microsoft has also confirmed a new showcase for June 8, so expect that list to grow after that presentation.

In other news, EA has confirmed that its rebooted Skate game won’t be available to play offline and fans are furious.
