Weird International Posters for Marvel's THUNDERBOLTS* and Another Promo Spot
Two international posters have surfaced for Thunderbolts*, and they might just be the weirdest posters that I’ve seen for a Marvel movie. The posters come from Thailand, and they celebrate various Thai landmarks, and they also show the team getting involved with Songkran, which is the world's biggest water fight. Songkran is Thailand's traditional New Year, and is celebrated April 13-15 and marks the start of the rainy season. It’s rooted in Buddhist and Hindu traditions, and the water fights symbolize purification and renewal.I also included a new promo spot that features some cool new footage of the team facing off against The Void. The plot summary reads: “A world without Avengers doesn't mean there's not a group of superheroes. There is a group and they're called the Thunderbolts. A group of supervillains from the MCU are recruited to go on missions for the government.”The film centers on the characters Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh), Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan), Red Guardian (David Harbour), Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen), Taskmaster (Olga Kurylenko), and John Walker (Wyatt Russell). Lewis Pullman plays “Bob” aka Sentry aka The Void.Jake Schreier directed the action-packed adventure, with a screenplay from Eric Pearson and Joanna Calo. Thunderbolts* crashes into theaters May 2! Word of advice: Don't mess with Bob
