Comfort and calm: Be Relax unveils two redesigned spa concepts at Dubai International Airport
More than simple renovations, the reopenings mark the debut of two new design concepts, each crafted to offer a sensory escape from the busy airport environment.

UAE. Airport wellness provider Be Relax has reopened two refurbished spa locations at Dubai International Airport (DXB), both situated in Terminal 3, Concourse A.
The openings mark the debut of two new design concepts, reflecting Be Relax’s broader reimagining of the travel wellness experience and offering travellers an elevated environment to relax, rejuvenate and reset before their trips.
The first spa (near Gate A1) features a tropical-inspired concept, characterised by lush greenery, plant-lined walls and ambient lighting. In addition to Be Relax’s signature services – including chair massages, facials, nail care and relaxation loungers – this site also features premium shower facilities and private treatment rooms, catering to passengers seeking a more exclusive wellness experience.
The second location (near Gate A23) introduces a concept inspired by the softness and serenity of clouds. Designed with soft textures, muted lighting and a large screen projecting calming cloud visuals, the spa aims to create a ‘weightless’ experience for travellers. Signature Be Relax services are also available at this site.
The reopenings were celebrated with a wellness-focused event on 25 April, featuring complimentary sound healing sessions led by sound healing practitioner Harriet Emily. These sessions reinforced Be Relax’s mission to place wellbeing at the heart of the travel experience.
Dubai Airports Vice President of Commercial Concession Management Alison Macdonald commented: “Wellness has become an essential part of modern travel. We’re consistently shaping spaces at DXB that respond to the evolving role of experiences in travel. These refreshed Be Relax spas provide what today’s traveller seeks: comfort and calm that fit the pace.”
Be Relax CEO and Founder Frederic Briest commented: “DXB is the world’s busiest airport with international passengers and one of the most dynamic hubs, and we wanted our spas to reflect both the energy of travel and the importance of taking a moment to unwind.
“These two locations represent the evolution of our wellness mission – where innovation meets comfort and design meets purpose. We’re thrilled to offer travellers an elevated experience through these beautifully redesigned spaces.”
