Brad Pitt has lined up another big project, and this time he’s heading overseas with A24. The actor is set to star in an adaptation of The Riders, directed by Conclave and All Quiet on the Western Front filmmaker Edward Berger.The film is based on Tim Winton’s The Riders, and the plot follows a man who moves to Ireland with his family, only to have his world upended when his wife mysteriously vanishes. His search for answers sends him across the continent.The movie will be filmed across multiple European locations.David Kajganich, who’s no stranger to heavy, atmospheric material (A Bigger Splash, The Terror, Bones and All), is adapting the screenplay. Ridley Scott is also producing through his Scott Free production banner.Pitt, of course, has a stacked schedule. He’ll soon be seen in F1, the high-octane racing drama from Top Gun: Maverick director Joseph Kosinski. He’s also reuniting with David Fincher and Quentin Tarantino for The Continuing Adventures of Cliff Booth, a spinoff from Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, with Tarantino writting the script and Fincher directing for Netflix.Berger’s involvement is a big draw here.
