The eighth season of Adult Swim’s animated sci-fi comedy “Rick and Morty” will debut on the network on May 25th. Ian Cardoni, Harry Belden, Sarah Chalke, Chris Parnell and Spencer Grammer lend their voices to the series.

An official synopsis indicates fans should: “look out for adventures with Summer, Jerry, Beth, and the other Beth. Maybe Butter Bot will get a new task? Whatever happens, you can’t keep Rick and Morty down for long. People have tried!.” [Source: Adult Swim]

Dexter: Original Sin
Paramount+ with Showtime’s prequel spin-off series “Dexter: Original Sin” has been renewed for a second season with a writer’s room set to begin shortly and production dates to be revealed soon.

Patrick Gibson plays Dexter Morgan in his late teens in 1991, 15 years before the events of the original first season of “Dexter”. Here, he’s a student refining his skills with the help of his adoptive father, Harry (Christian Slater) and interning with Miami PD. [Source: Deadline]

House of the Dragon
Production has officially commenced on the third season of HBO’s “House of the Dragon” with Tommy Flanagan (“Sons of Anarchy”) and Dan Fogler (“Fantastic Beasts”) joining the cast as Ser Roderick Dustin and Ser Torrhen Manderly respectively. Shailene Woodley has scored a major recurring role in the currently filming second season of Hulu’s political thriller series “Paradise” from creator Dan Fogelman and 20th Television. Kal Penn, Charlie Heaton, and Claire Forlani have joined the cast of the fourth season of HBO’s financial industry drama “Industry”. Production on the new season is currently underway.

Penn will play Jay Jonah Atterbury, CEO and founder of payment processor Tender. Heaton will play finance journalist Jim Dycker. Forlani will play corporate PR heavy-hitter Cordelia Hanani-Spyrka. [Source: TV Line]
