Built to Spill and Yo La Tengo announce co-headlining summer tour

Built to Spill and Yo La Tengo played a few co-headline shows in the Pacific Northwest last year and it worked out so well they’re going to do it as a short summer tour. Dates kick off July 10 in Atlanta and wrap up July 18 in Louisville and they’ll swap who opens/closes every other show.  Tickets for all dates of the tour go on sale Friday, April 4 at 10 AM local time.

Meanwhile, both bands also have headline dates. Yo La Tengo just played Knoxville’s Big Ears festival and are on tour now across the Southwest and West Coast and that run wraps up at Salt Lake City’s Kilby Block Party.

Built to Spill have Midwest and West dates immediately following the run with YLT.
