VA shoegazers Keep announce new LP, opening Turnover’s ‘Peripheral Vision’ tour
Lead single ”Fun Facts” is a heavy/beautiful shoegaze song that’s gonna sound great when paired with Turnover later this year.

Turnover are gearing up to celebrate the 10th anniversary of their game-changing sophomore album Peripheral Vision by performing it in full on tour, and one of the opening bands on that tour is Turnover’s similarly hazy Virginia neighbors Keep. Ahead of the tour, Keep announced a new album, Almost Static, due May 30 via Signal//Noise Records. It was produced by frequent collaborator Zac Montez (who’s also worked with Cloakroom, Whirr, and more), and lead single/opening track “Fun Facts” is a heavy/beautiful shoegaze song that’s gonna sound great when paired with Turnover later this year. Check out the song and its Blindlight Co-directed video below.
Keep are on the final seven dates of the Turnover tour, including the three NYC-area shows: June 12 at Brooklyn Paramount, June 13 at Brooklyn Paramount, and June 14 at Huntington’s Paramount Theater. Citizen were also officially added to all of those dates after wrapping up the Northeast portion of their tour with Movements, Scowl, and Downward. All dates are listed below.
Turnover are also putting out an expanded 10th anniversary edition of Peripheral Vision, and we’ve got an exclusive “candied avocado” vinyl variant up for pre-order now in the BV shop.
