NICK HAKIM

Nick Hakim will celebrate the 10th anniversary of his debut EPs, Where Will We Go Pt. 1 & 2, with special shows in NYC (First Unitarian Church on April 25) and Los Angeles (Pico Union on May 3) “alongside some very special guests.”

THE BETA BAND

Alert the clerks at Championship Vinyl, The Beta Band are back and will tour for the first time in 20 years this fall, including US and Canadian shows.

BERNIE SANDERS (WITH COOL BANDS)

Bernie Sanders has been on his “Fight Oligarchy” tour and upcoming dates have indie rock openers like The Armed, Tim Kinsella & Jenny Pulse, and Polica.

NEIL YOUNG AND THE CHROME HEARTS

Neil Young is adding a free Ukraine show to his upcoming tour.

STEREOLAB

Stereolab have added second shows in LA, San Francisco, Chicago and NYC to their fall tour schedule.

BECK (ORCHESTRAL) / MOLLY LEWIS

Beck will be playing shows with orchestras this summer and has whistler Molly Lewis along for the ride.

BRIGHT EYES

Bright Eyes began their tour last week; they’re currently out with Hurray for the Riff Raff, and will hook up with Cursive starting April 3 in Madison, WI. They’ve added a few more shows to the run, including Long Island.

JEREMY EARL (WOODS) / DANIEL HIGGS

Woods’ Jeremy Earl has his first solo EP out this month and will be touring with Daniel Higgs (Lungfish).

CHROMEO (4TH OF JULY IN NYC)

What are you doing for the 4th of July? Maybe you haven’t thought that far ahead, but Chromeo have, and will be doing a DJ set at Brooklyn’s Skyline Drive-In with Bakermat, Shallou, and more to be announced.

THE OFFSPRING / JIMMY EAT WORLD / NEW FOUND GLORY

The Offspring have announced North American dates for their Supercharged world tour, which will have them out with Jimmy Eat World and New Found Glory. The trek begins July 11 in West Palm Beach and wraps up September 7 in Denver.

PAIN OF TRUTH / SUNAMI

Pain of Truth and Sunami have a new a split EP, and they’ll be touring together.

FRANK TURNER / DAVE HAUSE / KATACOMBS

Folk-punk singer-songwriter Frank Turner has announced a North American solo tour where he’ll be joined by Katacombs, and on some dates, Dave Hause. The tour starts with early and late shows at Garwood, NJ’s Crossroads on May 3 (with Katacombs), and includes Long Island’s Amityville Music Hall on May 20 (With Dave Hause and Katacombs).

GODCASTER

NYC band Godcaster have announced a four-show residency at Night Club 101 in April which features different guest bands and DJs at each show, and four episodes of Body Liars’ short play “He Keenly Feels His Loss”: April 8 has Baby Baby Explores with DJ Al Bailey (Fantasy of a Broken Heart); April 15 has Brutus VIII with DJ Foil (Jolt Music); April 22 has Asher White and DJ Zach Philips (Fievel is Glauque); and April 29 has Macula Dog with DJ Cole Haden (Model/Actriz). This summer, Godcaster will be on tour with Horsegirl.

MASSIVE ATTACK

While we wait for Massive Attack to announce new US tour dates, their schedule for the rest of the world is filling up with shows in Mexico, London, Zürich, and more. Today they announced a massive (pun intended) show at Manchester’s Co-op Live Arena on June 5.

ERIC CLAPTON

Eric Clapton has announced a few arena shows happing in September with The Wallflowers, including Nashville, Cleveland, Philly, Boston, NYC (Madison Square Garden on 9/19), and Uncasville, CT.

HAMILTON LEITHAUSER

The Walkmen’s Hamilton Leithauser will celebrate the release of his new solo album, This Side of the Island, with an in-store at NYC’s Rough Trade on March 11 where he’ll play a few songs live and sign copies of the record. That’s also in the middle of his Cafe Carlyle residency.
