A major PlayStation console exclusive blockbuster is 50% off in a limited-time PS Store deal that ends in two weeks. Santa Monica Studio’s critically-acclaimed God of War (2018) is just $9.99 on the PS Store and comes with PS5 enhancements.
God of War PS Store deal expires on March 27
God of War is part of PS Store’s latest Mega March promotion. The game is also part of PS Plus Extra catalog but those who want to actually own it should grab this deal. And for those who haven’t played God of War yet, this offer is a no-brainer.
God of War’s PS5 update comes with 4K / 60 FPS support. Players can stick to the original 4K / 30 FPS settings, but will have a better experience with the enhanced performance mode that outputs 2160p resolution at 60 FPS.
If you do end up snagging this deal, make sure not to claim God of War from the Extra catalog. Sony has a long-running licensing issue that overrides existing licenses, causing many players to lose access to owned games once the Extra games leave the catalog. The only resolution then is to contact PS Support, which is equivalent to pulling teeth.
If you’re one of those who previously claimed God of War via the Extra catalog and are experiencing difficulties purchasing the full game, try using PS Store’s web version to avoid the glitch.
