Based on the Korean web novel by Chugong, the series takes place in a realm of gifted hunters and monsters. In this world, weak hunter Sung Jinwoo is given extraordinary strength through a mysterious programme, which kickstarts a journey across the various dungeons to discover the true source of his power.

After a record-breaking run on the streaming service Crunchyroll, Solo Leveling season 2 recently concluded with epic finale. Now, fans are gearing up for an inevitable third run of episodes.

When is Solo Leveling season 3 coming out?

While the series has not yet been officially renewed, fans should expect a third season to be green-lit promptly, given the anime’s popularity and the financial backing behind it.

It’s been speculated that a third season could arrive as early as January 2026. However, it’s entirely possible that the franchise could take a different route and instead release a feature-length film first – exactly as they did before the launch of season 2.

Fans can expect an official announcement of season 3 after the conclusion of season 2. A teaser trailer could be revealed by mid-to-late 2025, providing a sneak peek at what’s to come. For now, however, nothing official has been confirmed.

When is the Solo Leveling season 2 finale coming out in the UK?

The Solo Leveling season 2 finale (episode 13) will be released in the UK on Saturday, March 29, 2025, and will be available to stream from 5:30pm.

Episode 13, titled ‘On To The Next Target’, is written, directed and storyboarded by Shunsuke Nakashige.

It was previously reported that the Solo Leveling season 2 finale would air as a double bill with episode 12, but that has since been debunked.

The official synopsis for the second season reads: “Jinwoo has become a formidable necromancer with an army of loyal shadows at his command. But he must master these abilities while keeping them hidden from other hunters, all while racing against the clock to save his mother. As he faces humanity’s toughest foes, Jinwoo pushes his body and mind to the limit, and the full extent of his newfound power is revealed.”

How to watch the Solo Leveling season 2 finale in the UK

Like every other episode of the anime series, fans in the UK can stream the 13th and final instalment on Solo Leveling season 2 on Crunchyroll.

The original web novel series ran for 14 books, published between 2016 and 2021, while the webtoon ran for nine volumes from 2018 to 2021.
