Arsenal Unveiled in New Gameplay Trailer for Psychological Survival Horror Game ‘Holstin’ [Watch]

Polish developer Sonka has unveiled an new gameplay trailer for their highly anticipated psychological survival horror game, Holstin. The trailer offers a cursory glimpse into the range of weapons available to players as they fight for survival in an eerie 90s-era Polish lakeside town, now consumed by unsettling horrors.

Players have plenty of options for disturbing the peace in Holstin, ranging from pistols, semi-automatic rifles, sniper rifles, uzis, and even a bit of recreational bow-and-arrow shooting. That’s on top of the various explosives you’ll be lobbing around. The trailer also showcases new gameplay footage of Jeziorne-Kolonia, which you’ll be exploring in your quest for answers.

The team is also in the midst of prepping a Kickstarter campaign, set to launch later this summer. The campaign aims to raise funds to complete the final stages of the game, and to crowdfund additional features and ideas the team is eager to implement. At the moment, you can sign up to be notified once the full campaign goes live.

Taking place in 90s Poland, Holstin is set in the eerie, isolated lakeside town of Jeziorne-Kolonia, where an ominous presence has slowly enveloped everything and everyone. A close colleague of yours came here looking for answers to a story they found in the newspapers. But after a series of incoherent and troubling messages, contact with them was abruptly cut off. Now you need to venture into this town to find out the truth and the fate of your friend.

Holstin is currently in development for release on PC via Steam. A demo is also available.
