Trailer for the Netflix Dark Comedy Cult Limited Series SIRENS
Netflix has released the first trailer for it’s upcoming dark comedy series Sirens, which stars Meghann Fahy, Julianne Moore and Milly Alcock.This is a five-episode limited series, and it’s a adaptation of writer and showrunner Molly Smith Metzler’s play Elemeno Pea. In the story, “Michaela’s cult-ish life of luxury is like a drug to Simone, and Devon has decided it’s time for an intervention. When Devon tracks her sister down to say WTF, she has no idea what a formidable opponent Michaela will be.”The series is told over the course of one explosive weekend at The Kells’ lavish beach estate, it’s being described as a “incisive, sexy, and darkly funny exploration of women, power, and class. “The trailer sees Devon looking to get her sister out of what she sees as a “creepy relationship” between Alcock’s Simone and her socialite boss Michaela “Kiki” Kell.The series also stars Kevin Bacon, Glenn Howerton, and Felix Solis. Sirens is set to premiere on May 22nd.
