ROBYN HITCHCOCK

Robyn Hitchcock has tour dates through July, including a few full-bands shows in California.

JESSE MALIN

Jesse Malin has added dates to his upcoming stage show, Jesse Malin’s Silver Manhattan: A Musical Guide to Survival at Gramercy Theatre: September 5, October 5 and December 7.

THE MARS VOLTA

The Mars Volta‘s fiery, psychedelic new album Lucro sucio; los ojos del vacío is out now (read our review), and now that they’ve wrapped up their tour supporting Deftones, they’ve announced new fall headlining shows.

METRIC DROP OFF BLOC PARTY TOUR, REPLACED BY BLONDE REDHEAD

Metric were set to join Bloc Party on tour, but they’ve dropped off due to “production issues.” Bloc Party will keep things 2004, though, and have now got Blonde Redhead.

MAC DEMARCO

Mac DeMarco has added more dates to his fall tour, including second shows at NYC’s Radio City Music Hall and LA’s The Greek.

THE SOUND OF ANIMALS FIGHTING / THIS WILL DESTROY YOU / MORE

Experimental post-hardcore supergroup The Sound of Animals Fighting have announced a fall tour with some killer support from This Will Destroy You and The Casket Lottery, plus Hard Chiller and Soft Blue Shimmer on select dates.

KAONASHI

Philly post-hardcore band Kaonashi have a new album out in June and will be on tour as well, including shows supporting Kim Dracula and dates with Sabella, Rakuyo, and Ballist.

JOHN CARPENTER

John Carpenter now has two NYC shows, which are his first anywhere in seven years.
