UK. Today’s selection comes from Heathrow Airport where a high-profile collaboration between premium tequila brand Don Julio and DJ and producer Peggy Gou is hitting all the right notes in Terminal 5.
The limited-edition Don Julio 194구 is being showcased with a vibrant pop-up inspired by the expression’s packaging. A neon-lit digital display highlights the visual campaign, while the metallic bottle is displayed in front of the wall-bay.
To mark the launch, Peggy Gou made a special appearance at the pop-up, where she signed a bottle and posed for photos.
As reported, the limited-edition release marks the first global product collaboration for Tequila Don Julio 1942. The name 194구 – with ‘구’ pronounced ‘Gou’ – references both the signature Don Julio 1942 expression and the artist’s Korean heritage, bringing a distinctive identity to the bottle.
The partnership combines Don Julio’s craftsmanship with Gou’s influence in contemporary music and fashion. Visually, the bottle features a futuristic design intended to reflect the creative synergy between the two worlds.
The liquid retains the familiar ultra-smooth profile of Don Julio 1942, with caramel and oak notes followed by a warm, lingering finish.
The expression and supporting Heathrow animation reflect a growing trend of crossover collaborations in the luxury drinks sector, where brands are aligning with cultural figures to reach new audiences and redefine category boundaries.
