Abu Dhabi Airports names Martin Ryan as Chief Commercial Officer

UAE. Martin Ryan, the highly respected and experienced former Executive General Manager at Brisbane Airport, has been named Chief Commercial Officer at Abu Dhabi Airports.

Ryan (pictured) has over 25 years’ experience in senior commercial roles, spanning strategic planning and execution, operational and project management, and new product development.

He has been a key figure in the transformation of Brisbane Airport’s commercial precincts, and in particular the upgrade of its International Terminal as part of the A$5 billion (US$3.3 billion) ‘Future BNE’ project.

Abu Dhabi Airports manages Zayed International, Al Ain International, Al Bateen Executive, Delma Island and Sir Bani Yas Island airports.

The airport company recently revealed record-breaking passenger results for 2024. Its five airports, led by Zayed International, served 29.4 million passengers, a +28.1% increase year-on-year.

Zayed International connected travellers to an expanded network of more than 125 destinations, with 29 new routes launched during 2024.
