Final Destination: Bloodlines
The first photo has been released of the late horror icon Tony Todd in his final big screen appearance in “Final Destination Bloodlines” which opens in cinemas May 16th. Todd reprises his recurring franchise character William Bludworth in the movie, the sixth overall of the franchise.

Kaitlyn Santa Juana, Teo Briones, Richard Harmon, Owen Patrick Joyner, Rya Kihlstedt, Anna Lore and Brec Bassinger star in the film in which a college student heads home to track down the one person who might be able to save her family from the grisly demise that inevitably awaits them all. Twisters 2
Scooper DanielRPK reports that a sequel to last year’s Glen Powell and Daisy Edgar Jones-led “Twisters” is in the works. The first film, a spiritual successor to 1996’s “Twister,” grossed $372 million worldwide. As the project is so early in development, there’s no word yet regarding returning stars or if Lee Isaac Chung will return to direct. [Source: GVN]

Untitled Kosinski UFO Film
Apple has closed a deal for the untitled UFO film package which has “Top Gun: Maverick” helmer Joseph Kosinski attached to direct and produce along with veteran producer Jerry Bruckheimer and a script by Zach Baylin (“Creed III,” “The Order”).

The large-scale conspiracy thriller follows two men working in national security who uncover a secret program to recover and reverse-engineer crashed UAPs (aka UFOs). The deal is said to be worth many millions with Kosinski earning Nolan-Spielberg levels of money for the gig. [Source: THR]

Friday the 13th
After being rumoured last month, Linda Cardellini is now confirmed to be playing Jason Voorhees’ mother, Pamela, in the “Friday the 13th” prequel series “Crystal Lake” at A24 and Peacock.

Brad Caleb Kane (“IT: Welcome to Derry”) is showrunner on the project with plot details under wraps. Victor Miller, Marc Toberoff; Robert M. Barsamian and Robert P. Barsamian executive produce. [Source: THR]
