The White Rabbit Gets the Force Edge Sword in Netflix’s “Devil May Cry” Clip

The White Rabbit manipulates his way into getting the Force Edge, sword of the demon knight Sparda, in the clip from “Devil May Cry” below.

Based on the Capcom video game franchise, the eight-episode anime series releases April 3 on Netflix.

Sinister forces are at play at the portal between the human and demon realms. In the middle of it all is Dante, an orphaned demon hunter for hire, unaware that the fate of both worlds hangs around his neck.

Johnny Yong Bosch (“Mighty Morphin Power Rangers,” Akira) voices Dante. Fans of the games will recognize his voice as Nero, Dante’s nephew.

The voice cast also includes Scout Taylor-Compton (Halloween), Hoon Lee (“Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles”), Chris Coppola (Postal), Kevin Conroy (“Batman: The Animated Series”), Robbie Daymond (“Spider-Man”), and Tony Todd (Candyman).

The series is created by Adi Shankar (“Castlevania,” Dredd), who also serves as showrunner, and produced by South Korean animation studio Studio Mir (“The Legend of Korra,” “X-Men ’97”).

Created by Hideki Kamiya, the first Devil May Cry game was released in 2001. There are now five main games in addition to several reboots, spin-offs, special editions, and mobile games.
