Kevin Feige Says He’s On Way To X-Men Meeting During Imagineering Video

Marvel boss Kevin Feige says he’s on the way to an X-Men meeting a pretty cool little Disney Imagineering video. Feige literally drops by at the end of this video, says one or two things and then leaves again. However, I did actually enjoy the video. It shows the Disney Imagineering team developing some cool tech for Star Wars and Spider-Man for Disney Parks.

Though as the host is talking to Josh D’Amaro who runs Disney Parks, Feige walks up for a small chat. Timestamp 14:17 when Feige appears.

Feige talks about how cool the whole Imagineering thing is and then points out, he’s just heading to take a meeting about X-Men. Now this could be anything related to X-Men, but I would imagine, given the rumors, it’s about the X-Men Reboot movie. All signs point to filming beginning on the X-Men Reboot sometime after work is completed on Avengers: Secret Wars.

Rumors are that the casting process has begun for the X-Men Reboot and that we can expect the film around 2028. I mean, we do think the next Phase will be called the Mutant Saga.

It’s not much, and on it’s own maybe not worth more than a part of a roundup article. However, I genuinely feel like the earlier content in the video is worth a watch. The question of whether the tech like shown for Spider-Man in the parks, could be used for movies is intriguing. For now, I’d guess whilst it looks much better than CGI, it’s just too expensive to set up and test for shots a director wants. However, who knows in the future?
