Florasis strengthens global presence with flagship store opening in Tokyo

JAPAN. Chinese beauty brand Florasis has celebrated the launch of its first international flagship boutique in Tokyo.
The store, which opened in January, marks a key milestone in the Hangzhou brand’s global strategy, building on its successful launch with DFS in Samaritaine Paris Pont-Neuf in Paris, France last year.
Located at Ginza Six, the boutique raises the profile of Chinese brands in Japan’s luxury beauty sector, reinforcing Florasis’ position in the C-beauty market.
The store highlights the brand’s signature offerings, including the Flawless Jade Breathable Setting Powder, Gentle Wave Aqua Glow Highlighter, Ethereal Flush Smooth Powder Blush and Yurong Airbrushed Tinted Pressed Powder.
Known for their innovative combination of Traditional Chinese Medicine ingredients and floral extracts, these products resonate with Japan’s deep-rooted preference for holistic, naturally inspired beauty solutions, the company said.
Florasis’ setting powders and makeup lines have been well received in Japan for their quality and performance. Makeup artist Hiro Odagiri even selected the Flawless Jade Breathable Setting Powder as one of his top beauty picks for 2022, reflecting Florasis’ rising influence in Japan’s beauty market.
The brand described this Japan debut as a “cultural milestone,” introducing Japanese consumers to Chinese heritage and beauty traditions through its high-quality products.
The boutique showcases exclusive, limited-edition collections drawing inspiration from renowned symbols of Chinese culture. These include Love Lock Lipstick, inspired by the ancient Chinese tradition of ‘matchmaking deities’, reflecting Florasis’ focus on blending beauty with cultural storytelling.
