Paradise
The second season of Hulu’s “Paradise” has officially begun production with series creator Dan Fogelman taking to social media to celebrate with a new photo from the set of the political thriller series starring Sterling K. Brown.

A renewal came through last month. Fogelman has previously indicated the plan is for three seasons overall and to pump each one out at a faster and more consistent basis than most streaming series. [Source: X]

A Man on the Inside
Netflix has enlisted Oscar-winning actress and Ted Danson’s wife Mary Steenburgen to join her husband in the second season of its acclaimed comedy hit “A Man on the Inside”. Filming on the new run begins next month.

Steenburgen will play Mona Margadoff, a former musician who factors heavily in the case Charles is trying to solve. It’s not clear who else will return from the first season, though Mary Elizabeth Ellis and Lilah Richcreek Estrada seem likely returnees. [Source: Variety]

The Pitt
Max’s critically acclaimed medical drama “The Pitt” was renewed last month for a second season just after a few episodes aired. Now, the show’s executive producer R. Scott Gemmill says the production team is aiming to have new episodes out by January next year.

Though an official date hasn’t been set, he assumes it will be “in January again, and [Max have] told us they would like us to be.” The first season in at 15 episodes and was ordered in March last year ahead of a July production start and January 9th 2025 premiere. Peacemaker
Singer Brey Noelle has reportedly joined the cast of the second season of “Peacemaker” as DC villain White Rabbit. There is still no official statement from DC regarding her casting, but the actress herself thanked a poster on social media who linked a news story about the hiring for that role.

In the comics, the character has bio-fission powers – allowing her to make two versions of herself. She joins a cast that includes John Cena as Peacemaker, along with Freddie Stroma, Danielle Brooks, Robert Patrick and Frank Grillo. The new season airs in August. [Source: Instagram]

Etoile
Amazon has released the new trailer for Amazon Prime’s ballet drama “Étoile” which hails from “Gilmore Girls” and “The Marvelous Ms. Maisel” creator Amy Sherman-Palladino and her writer/director husband Daniel Palladino. Luke Kirby, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Gideon Glick, David Haig, David Alvarez and Simon Callow star.

The story follows the dancers and the artistic staff of two world-renowned ballet companies, one in New York and one in Paris, as they both try to save their companies by taking a bold step and swapping their stars with one another. All eight episodes premiere April 24th.
