Oasis‘ entire backcatalogue has been made available in Spatial Audio with Dolby Atmos on Apple Music.
The new mix is being made available on the band’s groundbreaking albums including their debut ‘Definitely Maybe,’ ‘(What’s The Story) Morning Glory?,’ ‘Be Here Now’ in addition to three compilation albums, ‘The Masterplan,’ ‘Time Flies… (1994-2009)’ and ‘Stop The Clocks’. It will also feature on their live albums ‘Oasis Knebworth 1996′ and ‘Familiar To Millions’. You can listen to them here.
Big Brother Recordings commissioned Grammy award-winning producer, mixer and engineer Ryan Hewitt who has previously worked with the Red Hot Chili Peppers, to recreate the mixes from scratch on the streaming service.
“Honouring the original mixes, and the original intention of the sound of these records, which are so loud and explosive, and transferring that to Dolby Atmos was one of the greatest challenges of my career,” he said.

“These records sounded big in the first place, and now they sound even bigger on Apple Music in Spatial Audio whilst honouring the original spirit of the recordings.”
It comes after a 30th anniversary version of Oasis single ‘Some Might Say’ was recently released and crashed back into the UK charts.
Elsewhere, Liam Gallagher recently responded to reports that Oasis have dropped ‘Hello’ from their upcoming reunion tour setlist.
The band currently have 41 dates booked in for 2025 that will take them across multiple continents and will run through until November, with support to come from Cast, Richard Ashcroft, Cage The Elephant and Ball Park Music.
Recently, sources close to Oasis revealed to NME that the band’s line-up on the tour will include Noel, Liam, bassist Andy Bell, guitarists Gem Archer and Paul “Bonehead” Arthurs and drummer Joey Waronker.
Original drummer Tony McCarroll is not involved in the comeback tour, and recently shared a message with the band and their fans, writing: “The circle has started again lads. A new generation ready to start a journey of listening. Actually, I’m a bit jealous of that blank canvas they’re about to start on.”
“Lads, the world is excited to see this, it’s all people are talking about. The time ‘feels’ right, I can’t wait to see how it all goes down,” he expressed. “Liam, Noel, Bone, Gem…. (I better stop there as I’m not sure who else) Good luck with everything, and don’t forget to stop and take it in! If the drummer fancies a stage partner for Supersonic at Heaton Park, give us a buzz;).”
Stereophonics frontman Kelly Jones also recently revealed to NME that Noel has been back writing new material in the studio. “I’m assuming he’s doing some writing for either his stuff or if they’re [Oasis] gonna bring out a couple songs, I don’t know,” he said.
Elsewhere, fans have been reacting to Oasis’s Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame snub, after the band were revealed to be among the artists who were part of the longlist but ultimately did not make the cut. It marks the second time they had been snubbed from induction.
