Dallas Fort Worth International Airport announces multiple new F&B and retail concessions
More than 20 concessions have been approved by the Texas airport’s Board of Directors, part of dozens of commercial spaces scheduled to come online as the travel hub’s expansion continues at pace.

USA. Dallas Fort Worth International Airport has announced a raft of new dining and shopping concepts that will begin trading across its terminals over the next few years.
In all, more than 20 concessions have been approved by the Texas airport’s Board of Directors, part of dozens of commercial spaces scheduled to come online as the airport adds gates and builds the new Terminal F (see our story on this development here).
The most recent approvals include the first 24-hour Chick-fil-A inside a major US airport (Terminal A); Dallas Fort Worth Airport’s first 24-hour Raising Cane’s location (Terminal B); the debut airport location for healthy salads, bowls and sandwiches brand Salad and Go (Terminal A); and a Whataburger venue featuring self-order kiosks (Terminal B).
The latest concessions also feature numerous local Dallas and Texas brands. They include Mesero (Mexican-American fusion food, Terminal A); Brewed Coffee (pastries, coffee and tacos, Terminal E); Olivella’s Pizzeria (Terminal A); La La Land Kind Café (Terminal B); Velvet Taco (Terminal C); Mozart’s Bakehouse (scratch-made pastries and shakes, Terminal A); and Lone Chimney Mercantile (gifts made by local artists, Terminal D).
Other brands joining the terminals include The Peach Cobbler Factory (Terminal C); Ciao & Go (Terminal A); Nekter Juice Bar (Terminal B); Flyer’s Market (Terminal E); Piada Italian Street Food (Terminal B); Bluebonnet Exchange (Terminal C); and Sundance Travel Essentials (Terminal E).
Last month, the airport also approved four concessions which will open next year. Those concepts include AP Dogs-operated Portillos, a franchise from the Chicago-based beef sandwich, burger and hot dog brand (Terminal B); Treasures of DFW-operated Art K Texture, a retail store offering locally inspired gifts (Terminal D); Regali-operated experiential candy store Freeflight Sweets (Terminal B); and Gate Escape, an entertainment lounge offering sports, streaming and gaming (Terminal A).
Dallas Fort Worth International Airport Executive Vice President for Revenue Management and Customer Experience Ken Buchanan said: “These new partners represent the next chapter in DFW’s journey to transform the customer experience. By bringing in bold concepts, including several airport firsts and beloved local brands, we’re laying the foundation for more dynamic terminals and a more enjoyable travel experience.”
