Pearl Jam announce ‘The Last of Us’ EP ft songs used in HBO series
‘The Last of Us’ EP includes “Future Days” and other Pearl Jam songs used in HBO’s series adaptation of the zombie video games

Pearl Jam and The Last of Us have history. “Future Days,” from their 2013 album Lightning Bolt, was used in the second video game, The Last of Us II, as a plot point and bonding moment between main characters Joel and Ellie; the hit HBO series based on the game has also used PJ songs, including two figuring prominently into this week’s May 11 episode, “Feel Her Love.” They’ve now announced a four-track EP featuring Pearl Jam songs used in The Last of Us series.
The EP includes both the studio version of “Future Days” and a live recording from the 2024 Ohana Festival, plus “All or None” and “Present Tense (Redux).” The band have also shared a new video for “Future Days” and you can watch that below.
The Last of Us EP is currently available for vinyl preorder exclusively through Pearl Jam’s Ten Fanclub. You can stream it below.
