Muse Returns For “Daredevil: Born Again” S2

“Daredevil: Born Again” showrunner Dario Scardapane has confirmed that the character of Muse will be a multi-season threat on the Marvel Studios series.

The villain finally emerged in the most recent episode, the character kidnapping and murdering people and draining their blood to make murals all over New York City.

The supernatural elements of the character from the comics aren’t there, but that doesn’t make him any less a formidable threat – and a wild card that could interfere in the plans of both Wilson Fisk and Matt Murdock.

Speaking with TV Line recently about the character, Scardapane says:

“I call Muse a stressor in this story, in that in the battle between Fisk and Matt Murdock, Muse causes a ripple effect. He causes trouble for Fisk. He causes trouble for Matt Murdock. The Muse run, for lack of a better word, in this story has pretty shocking consequences. And those consequences don’t end. We’re carrying them into Season 2, is the best way I can put it.”

In upcoming episodes, viewers will get a better look at Muse’s lair which will play a key part. Set photos from the currently in production second season also seem to have confirmed the killer’s return, with speculation already rife about who is playing the role.

The fourth episode’s end credits, combined with plenty of online theories, have already suggested one theory related to an actor already seen in the first three episodes of the series. For those curious, the name is easy to find on social media.
