Max Teases “Peacemaker” S2,” “IT” & More

HBO aired the third season finale of “The White Lotus” this evening, and with that Max has unveiled a new 90-second trailer for upcoming series across both HBO and its Max streaming service.

The footage first starts with the titles launching imminently like the second season of “The Last of Us” and the fourth season of “Hacks” which both premiere this coming week, followed by the second season of “The Rehearsal” launching the following week.

There’s also glimpses of upcoming episodes of “The Righteous Gemstones” which is partway through airing its fourth and final season.

The biggest reveals are new footage from the second season of James Gunn’s DC-inspired “Peacemaker,” the “IT” prequel series “Welcome to Derry,” the J.J. Abrams-produced “Duster,” and the Mark Ruffalo-led crime drama “Task”.

Also showcased was footage from new seasons of “And Just Like That,” “The Gilded Age,” and “Conan O’Brien Must Go,” “Succession” creator Jesse Armstrong’s new film “Mountainhead,” and documentaries about Billy Joel, Pee Wee Herman and more.

The trailer also follows in the wake of Max’s recent soft-relaunch which came alongside its launch last week Australia. That resulted in a color scheme change which now closely resembles the classic ’embossed silver on black’ HBO logo styling.
