PSA: 2 PS Plus Extra April 2025 Games Are Out Soon

Players are reminded that at least two of PS Plus Extra April 2025 games will be out soon, with the first one coming this week. Intriguing indie game Blue Prince — a day-one title — will launch this Thursday, April 10. Meanwhile Lost Records Bloom & Rage – Tape 2 — also a day-one title — will launch next Tuesday, April 15.

Full PS Plus Extra April 2025 games lineup expected to be revealed this week

Sony typically reveals PS Plus Extra and Premium lineups in the middle of the month, and the catalogs are subsequently refreshed on the third Tuesday of the month. This time, however, it looks like the company has a different plan.

We’ve noticed that all the PS Plus games set to leave this month are displaying a departure date of April 15 on the PS Store, which is next Tuesday. Since the start of the service, games set to depart PS Plus leave on the same date that new games are added to the catalog.

Based on the above observation, we are expecting April’s Extra and Premium lineup to be revealed this week, with the catalog refresh scheduled for next Tuesday, April 15 — a week earlier than usual.

The other possibility is that Sony plans to pull April’s departures a week before the catalog is refreshed, but this is an unlikely scenario.
