Images of the Day: Community and creativity take centre stage at Dubai Airports’ Ramadan initiative

UAE. Today’s image selection comes from Dubai Airports, which marked the month of Ramadan with a meaningful community-focused initiative.
Ramadan, observed by Muslims around the world, is a time of reflection and generosity – values that were brought to life through a pop-up event in partnership with the Special Needs Future Development Center, a UAE organisation that supports young adults with disabilities.
The activation showcased handcrafted items made by SNF students, offering Dubai Airports employees the chance to engage with the young artists and purchase their work.
Each item reflected the students’ dedication and the practical skills developed through SNF’s vocational training programmes.
Dubai Airports’ initiative also aligned with the UAE’s Year of Community, a nationwide drive introduced by President of the UAE, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
