In a posting a few hours ago on Instagram, actor Jason Momoa has confirmed that he has completed his work filming as Lobo in the upcoming “Supergirl” movie at Warner Bros. Pictures.
Filming has been taking place at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden in the UK with other filming also happening in Iceland. The shoot began in January and is expected to wrap by next month.
Milly Alcock takes on the title role in the film, and more video has emerged from the set which confirms her comic-accurate costume and cape. In the new scenes, she appears to be getting ready for a fight scene.
Alcock stars as Kara Zor-El, Superman’s cousin, in a story in which she and Krypto the Superdog celebrate her birthday with a trip across the galaxy.
On another planet, they meet a young honorable warrior named Ruthye (Eve Ridley) and the pair set out to take down a ruthless swordsman and archer named Krem of the Yellow Hills (Matthias Schoenaerts) who hurt Krypto and killed Ruthye’s parents.
David Krumholtz and Emily Beecham co-star as Kara’s parents. “Supergirl” is expected be released in cinemas on June 26th 2026.
