GTA 6 -- All The Potential Gameplay Activities From The Second Trailer

Earlier this month, Rockstar Games pushed Grand Theft Auto 6 back from its Fall 2025 release window to May 26, 2026. But to tide fans over for another year, a new trailer was released for GTA 6 that offered a tantalizing glimpse of its possible gameplay activities. The trailers for Grand Theft Auto 5 teased activities that were in the game, and it seems likely that the new trailer for GTA 6 did the same thing. Rockstar subsequently shared GTA 6 screenshots that depicted a few activities which were not in the trailer.Having said that, these activities may not be playable in the final game. Previous GTA titles have given players a lot of mundane things to do including driving a taxi or playing basketball. We'd bet on GTA 6 doing the same thing, but we won't know for certain until Rockstar confirms the details. For now, these are simply potential gameplay activities. One of the first snippets in the latest trailer features Jason Duval working out on a beach, which seems like a callback to GTA: San Andreas' fitness options. If Jason's appearance is affected by how much he can lift, are there consequences if players don't take the time for him to exercise?Going from the trailer and the official screenshots from Rockstar, the following pictures include the potential gameplay activities for GTA 6. ContractingJason's first appearance in the trailer demonstrates that he has legitimate skills beyond his illegal activities. Repairing roofs as a contractor may not sound very enticing, but it could also be used as a front for Jason to determine if locations have anything worth stealing later. BodybuildingIn GTA: San Andreas, players had to keep Carl "CJ" Johnson in shape or else his physique really went downhill. Will Jason be subjected to the same conditions in GTA 6? RobberyIt just wouldn't be a GTA game if there weren't options to steal money. This time, it looks like Jason is taking money directly from a Bodega's cash register. That's probably not a big score for Jason, but it could be a reliable source of small income in the game. Bank robberyThe real money can come from a bank. This bank robbery appears to be a story mission in the game, but GTA 6 may be able to offer players a more involved robbery scenario than the previous titles could. We just don't know if this is a one-off bank robbery, or something that can be done more than once. If hunting is coming back in GTA 6, we'd be curious to see if the devs pulled out any new tricks for it. Gator shootingOrdinarily, we'd say this is a Florida thing. But since the GTA universe has its own names for the states, we'll say it's a Leonida thing.

Rockstar subsequently shared GTA 6 screenshots that depicted a few activities which were not in the trailer.

Having said that, these activities may not be playable in the final game.

If Jason's appearance is affected by how much he can lift, are there consequences if players don't take the time for him to exercise?

Going from the trailer and the official screenshots from Rockstar, the following pictures include the potential gameplay activities for GTA 6.

Contracting

Jason's first appearance in the trailer demonstrates that he has legitimate skills beyond his illegal activities. Repairing roofs as a contractor may not sound very enticing, but it could also be used as a front for Jason to determine if locations have anything worth stealing later.

Bodybuilding

In GTA: San Andreas, players had to keep Carl "CJ" Johnson in shape or else his physique really went downhill. Will Jason be subjected to the same conditions in GTA 6?

Robbery

It just wouldn't be a GTA game if there weren't options to steal money. This time, it looks like Jason is taking money directly from a Bodega's cash register.

That's probably not a big score for Jason, but it could be a reliable source of small income in the game.

Bank robbery

The real money can come from a bank. This bank robbery appears to be a story mission in the game, but GTA 6 may be able to offer players a more involved robbery scenario than the previous titles could.

We just don't know if this is a one-off bank robbery, or something that can be done more than once. But heists were a huge part of GTA 5 and GTA Online.

Drug smuggling

Jason's other job involves him smuggling drugs. Like the bank robbery, this is probably a story-driven mission.

Community service

Sharp-eyed viewers noticed that Lucia Caminos was wearing an ankle bracelet when was released from prison in the trailer. Later, she was also seen wearing a community service vest when reuniting with Jason after a long day.

A community service minigame may not be very exciting by itself, but it could still be fun in a Shenmue way.

Drinking games

There are a handful of cut scenes featuring Jason and Lucia, and it could potentially mean that drinking games will be included.

Underground MMA

Lucia is briefly seen wailing on a female opponent in an MMA-style ring. She's got the moves, but will she be able to fight multiple opponents in an underground fighting circuit?

Jet skiing

You can't rob and shoot people 24/7. One of the last scenes in the trailer features Jason and Lucia enjoying a ride on a jet ski.

Kayaking

This was one of the images shared by Rockstar. Kayaking is a surprising option for a GTA game, but we're willing to go for it!

Mini golf

A mini golf option was also shared by Rockstar. Considering the company once made a tabletop tennis game, we're curious to see how this will work in the GTA 6 engine.

Fishing

It appears that Jason can go fishing as well, but is he going to keep his catch or throw it back?

Pool

A game of pool will feel right at home in the GTA universe.

Basketball

Is basketball making a GTA comeback? There is a distant shot of a basketball court in the lower left corner of this screenshot.

Hunting

Rockstar has plenty of experience incorporating hunting in the Red Dead Redemption games and in GTA 5. If hunting is coming back in GTA 6, we'd be curious to see if the devs pulled out any new tricks for it.

Gator shooting

Ordinarily, we'd say this is a Florida thing. But since the GTA universe has its own names for the states, we'll say it's a Leonida thing.

Dirt bike racing

It looks like there may be an opportunity to participate in a dirt bike race against other competitors.

Scuba diving

Some of the early GTA games killed the players' character if they fell into the water. But GTA 5 featured some scuba diving, and this gorgeous screenshot suggests that it's making a comeback in GTA 6.
