Gamers, particularly those who are into those AAA (3A) PC games like Grand Theft Auto, The Witcher, Baldur’s Gate, etc, are very particular when it comes to their consoles, devices, accessories, and other toys that they can add. We see a lot of gaming hardware that would like to appeal to both casual (although casual gamers are few and far between) and hard core gamers by creating products with bold designs and also high performance specifications. It can be hard to stand out in the market though as there are so many products both from big brands and indie creators as well.

KiwiDesign would like to join the fray as well with this concept for a gaming device with a very cyberpunk aesthetic. The X-Cube Gaminng Mini PC is a concept for a flagship mini PC that is created specifically for those who play these 3A PC games. Based on the renders and the short description, it wants to combine cutting-edge components with the striking visuals that is associated with cyberpunk core.

Designer: KiwiDesign

On paper, you get serious muscle with this mini PC with its Intel 14-core i9 CPU paired with an NVIDIA 4060 GPU. This means that even the most demanding games, which a lot of these 3A PC games are, should be able to run smoothly at top processing speeds and top-tier graphics. It has a 4-inch real-time display in front so you get essential operating parameters at a glance. It can also give you customizable interface options so it can become more personalized.

The device itself looks like the AllCube from the Transformers series with an intuitive design that even beginners can easily navigate. It has a control know that can switch between working modes so you can have full control without those complicated software menus. It also has a magnetic side cover so you can swap out or upgrade hard drives if needed. It also has a multi-faceted air inlet and outlet design so it won’t overheat even at peak performance, providing good enough heat dissipation.

As a concept, it seems pretty impressive and something that may appeak to PC gamers. Don’t see it as just another box enclosing specs. It’s a device that visually and functionally aligns with the passion and identity of the gaming community. Its cyberpunk aesthetic also shows that we can explore more mini PCs that don’t look like the usual and can fit the personality of those that will be using them.
