The teaser trailer has been unveiled for the Nicolas Cage-led live-action “Spider-Man Noir” series at Amazon Prime Video.
The series tells the story of an aging and down-on-his-luck private investigator (Cage) in 1930s New York, who is forced to grapple with his past life as the city’s one and only superhero.
Cage reprises the role of a character he voiced in animation form in 2018’s “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse”. Oren Uziel and Steve Lightfoot serve as the series co-showrunners.
Lamorne Morris, Brendan Gleeson, and Lukas Haas. Other actors include Li Jun Li, Abraham Popoola, Jack Huston, Karen Rodriguez, Cameron Britton, Cary Christopher, Michael Kostroff, Scott MacArthur, Joe Massingill, Whitney Rice, Amanda Schull, Andrew Caldwell, Amy Aquino, and Andrew Robinson co-star.
Harry Bradbeer directs the first two episodes and executive produces alongside “Spider-Verse” regulars Phil Lord, Christopher Miller, and Amy Pascal.
The show will debut in the U.S. via the MGM+ streaming service before arriving on Amazon Prime Video a day later. A specific launch date has yet to be announced.
A premiere date for Spider-Noir has not yet been announced. However, it is known that the show will first debut in the United States on MGM+ before it then comes to Amazon Prime Video a day later.
