Beloved Xbox Game Is 50% Off On PS Store

Every month, the PS Store has a sales promotion that brings significant discounts to some of the best PS4 and PS5 games on the digital storefront. The latest is called “Next Level Savings,” and allows players to save up to 75% on the hundreds of deals available. This includes an Xbox Studios game that was released in 2022.

Developed by Obsidian Entertainment, Pentiment is 50% off on the PS Store. This puts its price at $9.99 rather than its typical $19.99 asking price. Players should take advantage of this deal soon. The offer expires on May 22 at 2:59 a.m. ET.

When Pentiment was released back in 2022, it was well-received critically. According to the review aggregate website Metacritic, it garnered an average score of 86 across 56 critic reviews.

Pentiment also received several nominations during the 2022 award season. This includes Game of the Year at the 23rd Game Developers Choice Awards, the Big Apple Award for Best Game of the Year at the New York Game Awards, and the Xbox Game of the Year at the Golden Joystick Awards. It also won awards at the 23rd Game Developers Choice Awards for Best Narrative and at the 84th Annual Peabody Awards for the Interactive & Immersive award.

Pentiment is one of the first Xbox Studios-developed games to come to PS5 as part of Microsoft’s newest initiative to bring its games to other platforms. The most recently announced Xbox game coming to PS5 is Gears of War: Reloaded on August 26.
