Chris Pine to Star in Action Movie RUN THE NIGHT for Lionsgate
Chris Pine (Star Trek, Wonder Woman, Don’t Worry Darling, Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves) has signed on to star in and produce the action movie Run the Night for Lionsgate and Hidden Pictures. The movie marks the feature directorial debut of Robert Alonzo, a hugely well-respected second unit director and stunt coordinator who had worked on major titles including Deadpool, The Batman, and The Flash, to name a few. Lionsgate has acquired worldwide rights to the title and will launch sales in Cannes. The screenplay comes from John Glenn and Alex Davidson, with a story by Glenn.Run the Night follows a banker, accused of betraying the Penose (the Dutch mob), who is dumped naked in the heart of Amsterdam with a $10 million bounty on his head.
