Second Trailer: “Grand Theft Auto VI”

Rockstar Games has released the second trailer for “Grand Theft Auto VI,” the clip arriving nearly a year-and-a-half after the first trailer debuted back in December 2023.

This new trailer premieres just days after Take Two Interactive and Rockstar announced that the game’s planned release for this Fall had been pushed back around six months to a May 26th 2026 release.

Whereas the first trailer was a mood piece showing off the Vice City (Miami really) location at large, this one sticks to the game’s main story about a couple who commit crimes together – all set to “Hot Together” by The Pointer Sisters.

In the game, Jason and Lucia have always known the deck is stacked against them. But when an easy score goes wrong, they find themselves on the darkest side of the sunniest place in America, in the middle of a conspiracy stretching across the state of Leonida — forced to rely on each other more than ever if they want to make it out alive.

The clips show various locales from dingy motel rooms and strip joints to marinas, freeways, swamps and more. The title will reportedly sport six main map locations – Vice City, Leonida Keys, Grassrivers, Port Gellhorn, Ambrosia and Mount Kalaga National Park.

GTA 6 is expected to be released on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S on that May 2026 date. A PC version has yet to be announced.
