Nevermore Academy is back in session with the return of “Wednesday” season two on Netflix this August. Also arriving in August is the brand new Black Dahlia Flower building set from LEGO.
The official 358-piece LEGO set will be released on August 1, 2025.
LEGO’s Black Dahlia Flower set includes “a black dahlia plant with leaves and light purple buds, and a vase that resembles a mini conservatory. Once built, kids remove the dahlia flower to unlock the vase and reveal the classroom inside, which features removable desks, a stool and other storytelling accessories. The set also comes with Wednesday Addams and Professor Marilyn Thornhill minidolls for role-play possibilities.”
In season one, Christina Ricci‘s Professor Marilyn Thornhill gifts Jenna Ortega‘s Wednesday Addams a black dahlia flower upon learning that it shares the name of her students favorite unsolved murder. The gift also doubled as foreshadowing, as the flower also represents betrayal.
This 358-piece set, featuring a buildable black dahlia flower in a vase, measures over 9 inches high, 4 inches wide, and 3.5 inches deep when closed. MSRP is an affordable $27.99.
The set releases just days before “Wednesday” Season 2 will premiere with Part 1 on August 6, 2025.
In the bolder, darker new season: “Wednesday Addams returns to prowl the Gothic halls of Nevermore Academy, where fresh foes and woes await. This season, Wednesday must navigate family, friends and old adversaries, propelling her into another year of delightfully dark and kooky mayhem.”
Creator/showrunners Alfred Gough and Miles Millar return for the spine-tingling second season, alongside executive producer and director Tim Burton.”
Joining Ortega in the new season will be fellow returning stars Luis Guzmán as Gomez Addams and Catherine Zeta-Jones as Morticia Addams, with Lady Gaga also joining the cast.
