Dezeen Showroom: this furnishing system by Steelcase brand Orangebox zones workplaces using components that are shaped like campervans, cabins and awnings.
Created by Orangebox design manager Mark Partridge, the Campers and Dens system allows for the creation of private and semi-private spaces within open-plan offices, bringing a sense of fun by loosely referencing outdoor holiday accommodation.
The system features pods, booths, partitions and sheltering "awnings" that can be used to create areas for solo work or small meetings, as well as guide circulation through spaces in a relaxed manner.
"Campers and Dens helps organisations transform their workplaces into desirable locations where people are empowered to work according to their needs and preferences," said Steelcase.
"Awnings, cabins and the exterior walls of the Camper create inspiring circulation paths where wandering is welcome and touch-down spaces allow for casual conversations or focus work," the brand continued.
The Campers and Dens system comes in a range of colour and material options, and the system can be adapted to new configurations as needs change in the workplace.
