Survival Horror Game ‘Amber Alert’ Releasing Physically for PS5 [Trailer]

Developer MEATBREAD has announced that their “Slasher Horror meets Bodycam” title Amber Alert will be making the jump to a physical edition for the PlayStation 5, courtesy of Tesura Games. Pre-orders for the physical edition are now up at Tesura Games’ website.

Previously released on Steam, Amber Alert sees players step into the shoes of a dedicated policeman responding to a late-night call about a missing person. Arriving at the reported location alone to follow up on an anonymous tip, players will venture deeper into a seemingly deserted neighborhood.

The dark streets and eerie silence give way to a terrifying discovery: a sinister cult of women abductors lurks in the shadows, ready to strike whenever you lower your guard. These relentless foes are cunning and will use the darkness to their advantage, making every corner a potential death trap.

Your mission is urgent and dangerous: find and rescue a girl who is still alive while navigating through the streets, all the while evading or confronting the cult members who will stop at nothing to protect their secrets.

You’ll be needing to use your wits and limited resources in order to survive. Adding to the difficulty (and replayability) are the multiple paths available to you, along with randomly-placed items, random enemy locations, and events that require your attention in order to succeed.

The physical version of Amber Alert includes the full game, as well as 4 “Deadly Cheatcode Postcards”. You’ll be needing them, as the developers have stated that the game is hard, demanding quick reflexes, sharp observation, and “unwavering courage”.
