Allo Darlin’ announce first album in 11 years, share “My Love Will Bring You Home”
‘Bright Nights’ is Allo Darlin’s first album since 2014 and will be out July 11.

Nine years since breaking up and 11 since their last album, underappreciated UK/AU indiepop greats Allo Darlin’ are back together and making new music. They’ve just announced Bright Nights, their first album since 2014, which will be out July 11 via Slumberland (North America) and Fika Recordings (UK).
“It’s an album from the heart, dealing with themes of love, birth and death, which are things we reflect more on than we did when we made our first album,” says singer and songwriter Elizabeth Morris. “I would hope that the album sounds timeless and joyous, at other times reflective and emotional.”
Bright Nights includes recent single “Tricky Questions,” and they’ve just shared “My Love Will Bring You Home,” another shimmering earworm that sounds like they had never left. Morris says it’s a country love song to her young daughters. “It also makes me feel a connection to the place I come from, which is a country town in Queensland, Australia – if I think of myself as a country singer, it makes more sense that I come from Rockhampton.” You can listen to that below.
