A Man on the Inside
Netflix is adding eleven names to the second season of its well-received comedy ensemble “A Man on the Inside” starring Ted Danson. Joining him will be David Strathairn, Gary Cole, Jason Mantzoukas, Constance Marie, Jill Talley, Linda Park, Lisa Gilroy, Madison Hu, Max Greenfield, Michaela Conlin and Sam Huntington.
The series hails from creator Mike Schur and Universal Television. Mary Steenburgen was previously cast in S2, while Lilah Richcreek will reprise her role from the first season. The new run will see Charles taking on a new assignment at a college. [Source: THR]
Chicago
NBC has renewed its three “Chicago” series – “Chicago Med,” “Chicago Fire,” and “Chicago PD” – for new seasons. That will bring them up to Seasons 11, 13 & 15 respectively.
All three shows air back-to-back on Wednesday nights on NBC and remain incredibly popular. NBC indicates the three shows have reached nearly 46 million total viewers this season to-date across NBC and Peacock. [Source: Variety]
NCIS: Tony & Ziva
Paramount+ released the first trailer for the new spinoff “NCIS: Tony & Ziva” in which Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo return as Tony DiNozzo and Ziva David respectively. The two now live apart but reunite to protect their daughter from a new threat that has targeted her in this ten-episode series releasing sometime this Fall.
Peacemaker
The official trailer for the second season of Max’s “Peacemaker” series is arriving online on Friday, ahead of that a 30-second teaser for the new season has now gone online. John Cena promted the release during an appearance on “Inside the NBA” yesterday which included him bringing multiple variations of his helmet.
