Killswitch Engage, Deadguy, Orange 9mm, Walter Schreifels & more on new animal shelter benefit comp

Iodine Recordings and designer/photographer/publisher Tom Bejgrowicz have teamed up on a new compilation, The Dogs of Hope, that raises money for a no-kill animal shelter in rural Alabama. It features new and previously unreleased music from Snapcase, Walter Schreifels (Quicksand, Gorilla Biscuits, etc), Alex Skolnick (Testament), Killswitch Engage, Jeromes Dream, Death Ray Vision, Orange 9mm, Deadguy, Enforced, and more, with 13 of its 14 tracks being exclusive to the compilation. 100% of digital and physical sales will go to Wedowee, Alabama’s Randolph County Animal Shelter, and we have an exclusive cloudy blue splatter vinyl variant, limited to 100 copies and available for pre-order HERE.

Bejgrowicz, who began volunteering at the shelter in 2020, says, “This isn’t about changing the whole world. It’s about changing a world—one animal at a time.” Here’s more about the shelter from the press release:

This no-kill, privately run facility has to date saved thousands of animal’s lives, all despite their lack of public funding or support from the county.

Operating with a small staff at a completely full capacity since 2021, the Randolph County Animal Shelter is a beacon of hope in a region that features no spay/neuter programs.
