Swiz reuniting for Positive Force 40th anniversary show, announce box set & book

DC hardcore/post-hardcore vets Swiz, the band formed in 1987 by original Dag Nasty vocalist Shawn Brown, are have announced a new comprehensive retrospective box set, a new band biography, and their first show in 11 years.

2025.BOX is a joint production from Sammich Records, Hellfire Records, and Dischord Records, featuring remastered versions of their original releases made from the original analog tapes. Full details are still to come.

The biography, SWIZ, will be released by Akashic on October 7 and is “256-page book penned by all of the band members (Alex, Shawn, Dave, Nathan, Ramsey, and label-owner/friend Amanda) that combines historical interviews and personal journals, with present-day conversations, anecdotes, recollections, and reflections yielding new poetry and prose.
