Superchunk share new single ft Rosali, announce fall tour

Superchunk are back with a new single and a fall tour announced. “Bruised Lung” is pure Superchunk: bouncy, crunchy, anthemic and perfect for pogo-dancing. It also features backing vocals from their Merge labelmate Rosali. Frontman Mac McCaughan says it’s “a song about being disoriented and sleepless and not being able to explain why. Like a hangover but not from drinking. (You look normal on the outside.) Rosali came into the studio to add some woozy shredding and great harmonies.” Listen below.

The band’s fall tour starts September 9 in DC and wraps October 23 in LA, with an NYC at Bowery Ballroom on September 11. Tickets for all dates go on sale Friday, March 28 at 10 AM local time.
