3 of Brent Hinds’ (ex-Mastodon) bands announce show together
Brent’s bands West End Motel, Fiend Without A Face, and Dirty B & the Boys will all team up for one show in Atlanta this April.

Brent Hinds isn’t in Mastodon anymore, but that doesn’t mean he’s not staying busy with music. Quite the opposite. His psychobilly band Fiend Without A Face just played an Atlanta show a few days ago (3/21), and now three of his bands have announced a show together. Fiend Without A Face, the bluesy West End Motel, and Dirty B & The Boys will play Atlanta’s Garden Club at Wild Heaven West End on April 18. Tickets for what’s billed as “a whole evening of Bhinds!!!” are on sale now.
West End Motel and Fiend Without A Face are both side projects that Brent has had throughout Mastodon’s existence, while not much info is out there on Dirty B & the Boys. Stay tuned for more, and watch a full-set video of the recent Fiend Without A Face show and a live video of West End Motel from February below.
Meanwhile, Mastodon guitarist Bill Kelliher confirmed in an interview with Guitar World that the band’s long-teased new album won’t feature any contributions from Hinds.
