Panasonic Avionics will integrate Flightradar24’s live airline fleet data into its Arc moving map platform for inflight entertainment under a newly announced partnership with the Swedish company.
“Exciting Update! We’re taking flight data to new heights with Flightradar24. Our Arc maps will soon feature Flightradar24, the world’s most popular flight-tracking service,” Panasonic Avionics revealed in a LinkedIn post.
“This collaboration will transform how passengers experience live flight information.”

Under the arrangement, Flightradar24 will provide Panasonic Avionics with its live airline fleet data, which is trusted by aviation enthusiasts around the world. In turn, Panasonic will “seamlessly integrate” the data into its Arc maps platform, which has seen strong take up at airlines.
“This powerful data will fuel our new Live Fleet View feature, offering passengers an immersive and real-time map of all their carrier’s currently airborne aircraft,” explained the IFE giant.
“We’re incredibly excited to bring this innovative feature to our passengers and look forward to the enhanced experience it will provide.”
Flight tracking data and inflight map software make a natural pairing.
Another popular map provider, FlightPath3D, recently announced a collaboration with flight tracking platform FlightAware to create “Control Tower” mode, which will give passengers a detailed view of their aircraft positioning while the plane is on the ground — on top of the flight path view they’re already accustomed to watching on the moving map whilst in-flight.
United Airlines said it will become the first carrier to add Control Tower mode to its onboard FlightPath3D moving map, initially aboard select aircraft with seatback IFE screens.
Celebrating its new partnership with Panasonic Avionics, Flightradar24 has shared the following video on its YouTube channel.
