Netflix Shares ADOLESCENCE Star Owen Cooper’s Audition Tape
If you haven’t watched the four episode miniseries Adolescence yet on Netflix, it’s a show that you have to watch. It’s such a damn good show filled with phenominal acting.The biggest surprise was the performance by fourteen year old Owen Cooper, who had never worked as an actor before auditioning for this role. He was incredible. Stephen Graham, who also stars in the series, has gone as far as comparing the young actor to Robert De Niro. Netflix has now posted the teen’s audition tape for the role of Jamie Miller, who is a 13-year-old arrested by armed police on suspicion of murder.The video includes two scenes from the four-part limited series. The first involves Miller being advised by a lawyer ahead of his police interview. The second scene is taken from the stunning third episode, in which Miller is analyzed by psychologist Briony Ariston, played by The Crown star Erin Doherty.Check out the video below and let us know what you think.
