John Carpenter adds 2nd rare NYC show (on BV Presale – password here)

Horror/sci-fi icon and musician John Carpenter will play a rare Los Angeles residency this fall, and last month he announced an NYC show happening ahead of them. That show, happening on October 10 at Knockdown Center, is now sold out, so he’s added a second show the night before, on October 9 at Knockdown Center. You can get tickets on BrooklynVegan Presale starting today (4/10) at 1 PM ET with the password CARPENTERBKVII (it will come up automatically). Our presale runs until 2 PM ET, at which point any remaining tickets go on sale to the general public.

These will be Carpenter’s first shows in seven years, and his first NYC shows in eight. He’ll be joined by regular musical collaborators Cody Carpenter and Daniel Davies, and he says, “As soon as we announced my four-night L.A. residency, the response was incredible, and I wanted to offer my fans on the East Coast a chance to hear our music without having to fly across the country.”
