‘Jaws Goes to the Bahamas’ – ‘Jaws: The Revenge’ Fan Documentary in the Works

Jaws is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, but one enterprising fan is looking ahead to Jaws: The Revenge‘s 40th anniversary.

Voight-Kampff Productions has announced Jaws Goes to the Bahamas, a documentary celebrating the fourth and final entry in the Jaws saga featuring new interviews with the cast and crew.

Directed by Mike Gencarelli, the film is aiming for a release in July 2027 — marking 40 years since the 1987 film’s debut.

An Indiegogo campaign has launched to help secure funds during pre-production. Perks range from digital and physical copies of the film to producer credits and appearances in the doc.

In Joseph Sargent‘s Jaws: The Revenge, a great white shark harasses Chief Brody’s widow and her marine biologist son in the Bahamas.

Lorraine Gary reprises her role as Ellen Brody, starring alongside Lance Guest, Mario Van Peebles, Karen Young, and Michael Caine.
