Bloody Disgusting and Cineverse have saved Macon Blair’s The Toxic Avenger from sitting on a shelf somewhere in Tromaville, releasing the film nationwide on the big screen two years after it originally premiered to rave reviews at Fantastic Fest back in 2023. They said it was unreleasable, but we’ve seen the demand and we’re bringing it to EVERYONE on August 29!

A fresh take on Troma’s cult classic, The Toxic Avenger will be released in theaters fully UNCUT and UNRATED, and we’ve got two pieces of promo art that double down on the promise of everything from ultra violence to toxic content, mutant nudity, splatter and piss play!
