Select Oaks Hotels Now Allow Using GHA D$ During Booking Process

Global Hotel Alliance (GHA) Discovery program members collect Discovery Dollars (D$) that they should use to pay folio expenses while staying at one of the participating hotels.

GHA has slowly allowed members to use D$ during the booking process with select brands, and this facility has now expanded to select Oaks hotels.

Some GHA-participating brands now allow you to use D$ during the booking process. The minimum part payment is D$10.

Conclusion

The goal must be to allow GHA Discovery members to use their earned D$ for stays at ALL participating hotels, not just the ones above.

We have had some comments from readers who have faced difficulties using D$, as some properties only have prepaid rates available for bookings through GHA channels.

This wouldn’t be a huge issue, but some promotional D$ expire soon after they are earned, making optimal use of them problematic.
