We have had several readers contact us over the past 24 hours who have been unable to access their IHG One Rewards accounts for two to three days. IHG in the US may not be aware of the issue (customer service is from the Philippines).

A reader sent us several screenshots of trying to access their account without much success.
Philippines appears to be aware of the issue, but members cannot book under their account or even modify existing reservations.
The last time IHG had a similar issue was when they were hacked and then took the entire system down for days, but it doesn’t seem that there would be nefarious issues this time.
I checked my account, and there were no issues logging in on the app or on the website.
It is not uncommon to temporarily have account log-in issues during updates that tend to take place early Sunday US time, but not having account access for days implies that something has gone terribly wrong.
